For Windermere Professional Partners, giving back to the communities our REALTORS® live and work in is a top priority. Throughout the years, we’ve contributed to and supported several local organizations, giving both our time and money. Windermere’s Annual Community Service Day has been a tradition since 1984, and Windermere Professional Partners has been participating ever since we opened our doors for business in 2001!

On Friday, June 5th 2015, we worked with Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful on our community service day! PTPB was started 30 years ago and works to paint the exteriors of homes that belong to low-income, elderly, and disabled people who live in Tacoma, Lakewood, and other neighborhoods of Pierce County. Anyone who is able-bodied and can get to work for a few hours is welcome to volunteer at PTPB. We were excited to be able to partner with such an important organization in our community!

This year, Windermere Professional Partners took on 3 locations, and we had over 70 of our agents and staff participate. Wow! At one house, we worked to repair a deck and did some touch up painting; at another home we did some landscaping, and at the third location we painted the foundation around a large home, sealing the concrete. We saw what needed to be done and got to work, whether or not it was painting. The homeowners and agents alike were thrilled with the results!

WPP Co-Owner and Designated Broker Kevin Mullin says, "I am so proud to work with a group of REALTORS® and Staff that volunteer their time to give back to our community. Over 70 staff and REALTORS® actively participated in this event!"

As you can see from the pictures, a good time was had by all, and we look forward to our next community event. Working together does amazing things, and our lives, relationships and communities are stronger because of the continued teamwork of the wonderful people in our community!
